Northgate is located directly to the north of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ town centre. The area gets its name from the North Toll Gate from the London to Brighton road.

Three Bridges was originally a small village which merged with other villages in Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and Ifield to become Âé¶¹´«Ã½ new town. Three Bridges rail station is a mainline station on the London to Brighton line.
Tilgate is in the south of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and is home to Tilgate Park, Tilgate Zoo and the K2 leisure centre
West Green is located to the west of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ town centre. It is home to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Hospital, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Leisure Park and West Green Park.
